The research investigated the effect of using a differentiated learning approach toward students’ writing skills of tenth grade at SMAN 10 Pandeglang in the academic year 2025/2026. Using a quantitative quasi-experimental design, 72 students were selected through cluster purposive sampling and were divided into experimental (X-5) and control (X-3) classes. The research instrument was a writing test that assessed content, organization, vocabulary, grammar, and mechanics. The differentiated learning covered kinesthetic, auditory, and visual styles, which were assessed through validity, authenticity, reliability, practicality, and washback/motivation. Conducted over four meetings, the data were analyzed using an independent sample t-test in SPSS 25.0, which showed a significance value of 0.005 < 0.05, indicating a significant difference between classes. The result revealed that the differentiated learning approach positively affected students’ descriptive writing skills. Thus, it was recommended as an effective strategy to enhance students’ writing performance in English.
