APRIYANTI (409190005). An Analysis of Students’ Speaking Anxiety at the Tenth Grade Students of Senior High School 6 Pandeglang Academic Year 2022/2023

The objective of this research paper was investigated students’ speaking anxiety at the tenth grade Students of senior School 6 Pandeglang. This research used descriptive qualitative as the method and used three instruments for collect the data there were observation, questionnaire and interview. The participants of this research consist of 36 students of the tenth grade. The findings of this research showed that from 36 students divided to 12 students in level mildly anxious, 15 students in level anxious and 9 students in level very anxious and for the factors that caused the students’ speaking anxiety namely communication apprehension, fear of negative evaluation and test anxiety. Based on the findings researcher conclude that anxiety is one of problem that students experienced in learning process.
